On Monday  21 June 1943    7 Officers and 69 enlisted men commissioned the USS COD  SS-224

During her WW-II service the  USS COD  SS-224 was attached to the South Western Pacific command and made seven successful war patrols mostly in the China Sea and in and around the Philippine islands. Three officers and 14 enlisted men were aboard COD for all seven of her WW-II patrol runs. A total of 22 officers and 195 enlisted men served on the USS COD to complete these WW-II missions as follows:
