 | In 1994 Helene wrote, directed, produced, and performed in the critically acclaimed workplace revue called OUT TO LUNCH! which played to standing room only crowds at the Playhouse Square Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Since then, OUT TO LUNCH! has continued to wow corporate audiences as a business theater company, specializing in custom-written comedy performances for business conventions, trade shows, meetings, and special events.  | Helene is a much sought after emcee/stand-up comic for major entertainment events and her impersonations of Barbra Streisand, Joan Rivers, and Carol Channing have delighted cabaret and corporate audiences alike. Cleveland audiences may remember Helene from major stage roles at Great Lakes Theater Festival, Cain Park, The Working Theater, Cleveland Public Theater, the JCC and Berea Summer Theater in addition to her work as a founding member of Giant Portions Improv Company. |
| Helene Weinberg also teaches improv, voice-over, and audition techniques to newcomers to the business, serves on the board as Treasurer for the Cleveland AFTRA union and is the Editor of AFTRA's union newsletter. Her comedic commentary has been published in several local and industry publications and she has appeared on numerous radio and television shows including America's Funniest People, Candid Camera, and PM Magazine. Along with her husband, award-winning writer/producer Ray Tomecko, she writes and produces marketing and training videos and infomercials. She is a dedicated volunteer for AIDS fund raising and over the years has helped produce several local and national AIDS benefits. |
