Donna Turchanik's Regal, Megan, James, and Jenny
Ch. Donnaire's Regal Return ("Regal")
The First Thrill
Regal was my first Champion - finished Aug. 16, 1987. His was probably
the most memorable. (It must have been ... it's 10 years later and we're
still doing it!) Regal lived a REGAL life ... Sep. 21, 1980-Aug. 30, 1993.

Ch. Donnaire's Megan O'Merra ("Megan")
The Thrill Went On
Megan finished her American championship Dec. 6, 1987 ... 2 champions in
the same year!! It was enough to keep me going. Megan was like the perfect
child -- she did everything I ever wanted. She got her American and
Canadian championships, got a Best of Breed, and had beautiful puppies.
Megan still remains PERFECT in the role of reigning QUEEN MOTHER in our
household. Megan is now 12 years old.

Ch. Donnaire General's First Lady ("Jenny")
The Thrills Got Better
Jenny, though a year younger than her brother James, easily finished her
Canadian championship on Sep. 6, 1993 in just two week-ends. She went on
to finish her American championship in the spring of the following year on
May 29, 1994.

Jenny is a lovely bitch and we finally found a handsome mate
for her. She was bred in June of 1996 to Am/Can Ch. Shadyview's Double
Step. The result was a beautiful litter whelped Aug. 23, 1996. (As you
can see, our Donnaire version of the Country Sausage - 1/2 doz. +1 ... 6
males, 1 bitch :-)

Ch. Donnaire's General James ("James")
And Better
One of my MIRACLE puppies! James was a sole survivor -- so, of course,
he was SPECIAL already.

Here James is finishing his American championship with a Best of Breed
(Sep. 24, 1995). Talk about making the thrill ever BETTER!! But then
again I could see the dogs getting better from generation to generation and,
after all, that's what it's all about -- trying to breed better.
